This storied Reserve Chardonnay is made exclusively with fruit from the best lots grown on our twelve acre estate in the Carneros district. Rich, deep and complex, this vintage expresses both the essential nature of this historic appellation and our finest, limited-production Chardonnay.
Aroma: A complex array of sweet Meyer lemon, nectarine and red apple fruits with hints of vanilla and caramel.
Palate: Fresh citrus flavors at entry then delivers complex layers of fig, red apple, creamy oak, and vanilla. Rich, full-bodied and concentrated, leading to a harmonious, supple and long finish.
Try it with simple seared scallops or lightly sautéed shrimp. Excellent with brined and grilled (yes, grilled) double-cut pork chops. And, of course, great all on its own.
